Volcanic Eifel: a walk through Kaisersesch

That little city that hates everything. This is how the small town of Kaisersesch in the Volcanic Eifel describes itself. Located about 20 kilometers from the tourist attraction Cochem, Kaisersesch is definitely worth a trip. At the tourist office you can get a brochure with a brisk walk that takes you past all the highlights in and around the city: the French battlefield, the Roman tower and much more. If you want to stay in the center, you can stroll through the historic center and take a look at the leaning tower. Don’t forget to look at the beautiful facade with beautiful drawings in slate. You can of course also combine both walks and get a complete picture of the interesting town.
Kaisersch. It won’t mean anything to many. It is therefore an unsightly town in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, in the Cochem-Zell district, about 20 kilometers from Cochem on the Moselle and about 20 kilometers from Mayen. We are in Germany, more specifically in the Volcanic Eifel. The Volcanic Eifel is the area between Koblenz on the Rhine in the north, the Moselle in the east, Daun and Gerolstein on the left and Bitburg in the south. Kaisersesch may be a small town, but as their slogan says, A small town that has everything”!
